An interesting seminar on "English foreign presence" has been organized by the Center Advanced Studies (CEA) at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) 3 and February 4, 2011.

The session inaugual involved Pilar Pin, Director General of Citizenship English Abroad, Juan José Casares, Dean of the USC, Anna Terron, Secretary of State for Emigration and Immigration, and M ª Xosé Rodríguez Galdo, Professor of Economic History and Director of the CEA.

then Pilar Freire Professor of Economic History, and Eduardo Pis of Economic and Business Statistics, presented, on behalf of the team RIDHEM / CEPAM, the interesting study performed on "English citizens abroad: demographic analysis and expectations of return."

In the following sessions covered the topics of "Spain's image abroad. Economic and social economy", "Presentation and evaluation of public policies in favor of the English overseas," foreign presence English public institutions, and "Roundtable: USC and its outreach.
