25. Hispalink Galicia: Education in Finland and fable of the frog Oliver Clerc against social manipulation

As mentioned in entry 22 of this Blog, the indicators "Voice of the people" and "Government Effectiveness", unfortunately, have decreased in Spain in recent years, which has caused much skepticism and delays solution to many problem out of the economic crisis . There are many perverse incentives that benefit politically subservient to the party leaderships, rather than benefit those who support the solution to the problems of citizens. We must improve the electoral system to change the negative with positive incentives. Incluirmos here links to two videos interesting:
1) The showing as education in Finland enhances the citizens' voices heard by politicians and that they listen to good advice promote economic and social development.
2) the story "story of a frog" the philosopher O. Clerc, showing how social experiments, like those who suffer with intensity, tending to contradict the opinion of the majority of the English, are being applied little by little so that there is less social resistance. The fable warns us against manipulation attempts on the important social and education to prevent it.

can access both videos in English from our Blog international economics, which also include links to the English, French and Italian in the fable of the frog against tampering.

Finland is a country that has a well-educated, with a high level of political development as indicators of "Voice of the people" and "Government Effectiveness" and with a high level of spending on R & D per capita, which also contributes to its high level of development. Ultimately it is a good example for Spain, and other countries where it has not been given enough value to education and the voice of citizens, to improve the channels of development and progress, including a substantial improvement in transparency, respect to the constitutional principles of merit and ability, the agility of the civil service and improving the electoral system.

The latest reports Spain continues to fall in industrial production, which puts into question all marketing operations against the crisis, hardly able to get out of the English crisis if political parties do not listen to good financial advisers to increase industrial production per capita which is an essential element of our development, as discussed in various entries in our blogs.
This entry been dedicated to all educators who strive to convey the human and social values \u200b\u200bthat help people to be free and respected, and economic and social progress In. It is also dedicated to economists and other experts who wish to advise politicians to solve problems, and whose voice is not sufficiently disseminated or heard.

24. Critical to the cuts in research funding from the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Hispalink-Galicia Report on R & D

This chart prepared by the Hispalink-Galicia team with data from Eurostat, highlights the dearth of economic resources in Spain devoted to research and development (R & D). Now the Government announces cuts and many scientists are mobilizing against this nonsense . English society, although it still has an average educational level far below that of most developed countries, is more aware than our political parties of the importance of education and research for economic and social development, as evidenced by surveys of the Centre of Sociological Investigations (CIS).
international economic studies of the effects of R & D show that not only technological research is important research but also economic and other areas of social sciences and humanities often has a high positive impact on development economic and quality of life of citizens. In the coming weeks include here references and links to relevant studies in this regard.
Besides economic problems, there are many unfairness problems arising from a lack of support for R & D in Spain, such as young researchers precarious, injustice in the evaluation of the presidential administrations of invesrtigación of thousands of university professors and many others who are criticized in the webs Young Researchers Forum, University, Firgoa and others.
will include press reports and comments on this topic.

23. Hispalink-Galicia: Lower the industrial production index in Galicia and Spain in 2009

The graph shows the evolution of industrial production in Galicia and Spain in the period 2002-2009, with the average industrial production index for the previous twelve months. We observed a somewhat smaller drop in the case of Galicia, but worrying in Galicia and Spain.
In previous posts of this blog have seen as there was a convergence of real income per capita manufacturing Galicia compared with the English average, as seen in data inlet 12 this blog , in which the graph of Galicia vlaor increased while that of Spain remained virtually stagnant, due to a lack of policy support to the development industry. Moreover, the graph of the input 17 this Blog shows that most of the English regions are well below the levels of industrial production per capita in the more developed regions of the European Union.
The output of the economic crisis passes a boost to industrial activity that generates no increase in the deficit of foreign trade but also help to reduce the deficit.
In entries 8 and 19 of this Blog are graphs showing the evolution of external accounts. We note that after an excessive increase in the deficit in the period 2004-2007 (the insufficient increase industrial production per capita), there has been a sharp reduction in the deficit in the years 2008 and 2009, reflecting the difficulties in the context of the international financial crisis, to maintain a high level external debt. This adjustment is resolved not by way of increasing exports without reducing imports, which is preferable for the good of the English economy, but by way of reducing imports plus exports which has led to slow the English economic expansion.
is necessary to ensure moderation in the level of deficit in foreign trade while encouraging the development of all productive sectors, and it is therefore necessary to adopt measures to promote the industry. As we mentioned above is important to hear the voice of economists, both in the ruling party as opposition parties, since Spain has highly qualified economists who can help a very positive way out of economic crisis.

22. Hispalink-Galicia: Low rate voice of citizens in Spain in 2000-2008

The "Voice of Citizens" published by the World Bank, is one of the indicators of social capital important. It should be noted that in several countries, this indicator has declined in recent years, which is not good news. In the case of Spain, the decline has been very pronounced as is shown in the graph, which contains Spain along with 14 other European Union countries. Countries are identified by their codes of internet and are listed in the following order: Austria (AT), Belgium (be), Denmark (dk), Finland (fi), France (fr), Germany (de), Greece (gr) Ireland (ie), Italy (it), Holland (ne), Portugal (pt), Spain (es), Sweden (se) and Britain (uk).

analysis most comprehensive international is presented in the article published in the journal International Economic Studies in Development, Vol 9-2, which is available by clicking "here" and then "download" on the summary page.
also add comments on the importance of having a more open press to support the voice of citizens and electoral system reform.
